Our fund has a preference for investing in fast-growing Asian and emerging markets.

The Aberdeen Diversified Growth Fund aims to achieve genuine diversification, investing across a range of asset classes and concentrating on high-growth areas of the world, to achieve an equity-like rate of return but with less volatility.

And the fund’s dynamic asset allocation means it can seamlessly switch the investment not just between asset classes but between regions, too, following growth anywhere in the world to maximise returns.

The expected muted variability of return lends itself well to pension investing. Defined contribution members should not suffer unduly from unfortunate disinvestment timing and variations in defined benefit balance sheet valuations should be less extreme.
